COACH ED SCHLUETER
Baseball Directive was founded by Ed Schlueter in 2017, a former collegiate pitcher at Saint Joseph’s College (2007-2011) and an experienced coach dedicated to player development.
With a background that includes three years as the head varsity coach at Rensselaer Central High School and coaching various travel baseball teams, Coach Ed understands the evolving landscape of the game. He stays current with the latest advancements in baseball and softball training, integrating technology, data analysis, and a test-and-retest approach to measure player growth and improvement.
His coaching philosophy emphasizes objective feedback and measurable progress, utilizing tools like Rapsodo, Pocket Radar, and Blast Motion to help athletes refine their mechanics, make adjustments, and elevate their performance.
